9 Weeks Pregnant Update
Baby is a: Olive
Weight gained: 0 lbs
Symptoms: I felt surprisingly well this week but that might have just been because I was so distracted preparing for the holidays. I also started incorporating some healthy, yet simple, foods that help with nausea.
Cravings: Still enjoying all things bland and plain. I also really want salads like all the time. However, I am horrible at making salads, they always taste bad.
Aversions: Still not a fan of potent cheeses, which I didn’t like very early on in my pregnancy.
Sleep: To get more shut-eye, I am still sleeping in on days where Cole can be home. Those two extra hours in the morning are essential. If I miss them, then I have to take a nap or go to bed when my toddler does at 7pm, which isn’t so great for productivity.
Excited for: Telling the family! We bought these cute adorable ornaments for ultrasounds, which will be perfect for telling everyone at Christmas.

Due Date (yyyy/mm/dd):
Missing: Freezer Meal food prep. With a toddler, I like to spend as little time as possible on food prep. However, when I am not sure how I am going to feel each day, it is silly to prep a whole week of meals on Sunday because there is a very good chance none of it will appeal to me lol. Hopefully, I will get back to this by the second trimester and especially during the nesting phase of the third trimester, so I will have prepped ready to be cooked freezer meals for months after baby is born.
Dr. Update: No
Exercise: I ran around doing a lot of errands and Christmas shopping, does that count? 🙂
Stretch Marks: No
Labor Signs: No
Wedding Rings On: Yes
Belly Button In or Out: In
How I’m Preparing : As Christmas is next week, I prepared this week by finalizing the Christmas gift for each set of grandparents. Cole and I both gave our parents, soon to be grandparents to another baby, Christmas ornaments with the ultrasound picture inside. It turned out awesome and now, every Christmas, that memory can be placed on the tree.
Best Moment of the Week: Our family who were coming to stay with us for Christmas arrived and with them, L’s 4-month-old cousin. It was so fun to see and hold such a tiny baby again. I can’t remember L being that little even though she is only 18 months old. It’s crazy how fast they change!
